We absolutely loved our visit to the UK Pavilion at Expo Milano. Even a few years later, it still is very up to date.

It was a unique experience to visit this pavilion. A great experience that we will never forget.
Visitors take part in an immersive experience through a British orchard and wildflower meadow with typical native plant species, then head to a stylized 17 meter high bee hive in the form of an aluminum sphere . The hive is made up of more than 180,000 components and weighs 30 tonnes. Visitors are surrounded by sounds and lights that flash in response to the movements of a real beehive located in the United Kingdom. This innovative technology monitors the health of hives and helps solve the problem of maintaining bee populations – essential for pollination and feeding the planet.
